The country specific niche experts will be focused on one of the sub categories (problems, needs, structure, language, communicators) in combination with one or more other categories (products, industries and processes). It is desirable to narrow this scope so that the niche expert has the highest level of knowledge of the subject.
F. Broad but Shallow
A unique and valuable niche involves broad but shallow knowledge of problems or solutions. An individual who can rank the importance of operational and maintenance problems of the FGD systems in China will be in demand. Others may be more expert on individual problems but are unable to rank the importance of the individual problem.
2 The process of identification and utilization of niche expertise
The niche expert will be identified in the Global Decision Orchard. (Example below):
He will have the option to work
on hourly assignments for which he will be paid by the McIlvaine Company. He
will also be free to accept assignments directly from clients.
The niche expert credibility will
be enhanced by inclusion of papers or application notes in the Global Decisions
Orchard. They will be located by the proper decisively classified key words.
