Title: Market Trends: Sulfuric Acid Plants, Sulfur Recovery Units and Distillation Columns

The production of sulfur from oil & gas is expected to increase over the next five years due to dramatic increases in sour gas production expected from Sichuan field in south central China. Demand for sulfuric acid is expected to remain relatively stable and an oversupply of sulfur is projected by 2017. Three-fourth of the crude distillation unit (CDUs) over the next five years will be in either China or the Middle East.
