Flygt slurry pumps replace old pumps at Nanticoke GS, a coal-fired generating plant located on the shores of Lake Erie and owned by Ontario Power Generation. Two Flygt submersible HS 5550 abrasion resistant slurry pumps with a capacity of 240 l/s were purchased to pump water containing ash. They were placed in the bottom ash sump.
