ClorDiSys decontamination methods utilize chlorine dioxide gas (the industry's most effective sterilant) and UV light. Microbiological contaminants, including bacteria, viruses, molds, spores, beta-lactams and pinworms can be eliminated. The methods are gentle on materials and leave no post treatment residuals, making it safe to use in the most critical environments. Each method has their benefits and would be utilized with different approaches. The University of Nebraska Medical Center recently published their procedure for the disinfection of N95 masks using ClorDiSys’ Torch UV Disinfection System which discusses the reuse of this critical PPE resource.
