SANJEEV JOLLY – ECO PRODUCT SOLUTIONS

 BIO:  Mr. Jolly is the Vice President of Engineering at Eco Power Solutions, a company that specializes in multi-pollutant emission reduction systems for fossil fired plants.   He has over 22 years experience in the power industry in a variety of technical and managerial roles. Sanjeev has co-published and presented over 25 technical papers on emission controls, gas turbine inlet air cooling systems and HRSGs. He is a member of ASME PTC 51 committee, PowerGen International selection committee, and has a PE license from the State of Kentucky.  Mr. Jolly holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A from the University of Kentucky.

 

ABSTRACT: The presentation will focus on an all-in-one system that addresses several pollutants simultaneously – NOx, SOx, HCl, HF, particulate, heavy metals including mercury and CO2.  The capabilities of the system will be discussed in detail with special emphasis on mercury control by tests conducted on a coal-fired unit burning bituminous coal.

ABSTRACT: Over the past 2-3 year, advancements have been made in the design and performance of Hg CEMs. This paper will discuss these advancements and how they benefit the end user from a cost and performance standpoint.

 

 

 

MARC SYLVESTER – MIDWEST ENERGY EMISSIONS CORP.

BIO: Marcus Sylvester is Vice President of Sales for Midwest Energy Emissions Corp.  Marc is a veteran sales professional (20+years) in the air pollution control segment with various roles in sales & sales management at Johnson Controls, Nalco Chemical Company, and Fuel Tech Inc.

ABSTRACT: Midwest Energy Emissions Corp (ME2C) is focused on mercury capture programs, utilizing several patented technologies to control emissions from utility and industrial boilers. ME2C will review its last 3 field demonstrations results of their Sorbent Enhancement Additive technology. ME2C’s Mercury Reduction programs are designed to achieve greater than 90 percent capture at less than 1/2 the cost of Brominated Activated Carbon with less than half he amount of material needed.
