Ravi Narayan - Cemtrex

 

 

 

Ravi Narayan graduated from Madras University India in Electronics and Instrumentation and Business Management from the same university.

 

He had worked with Streeter Richardson in their Weighing system division from 1981 to 1988, and then with Procal India in their process analyzer division from 1988 to 1995, and then with Air Instruments & Measurements from 1995 to 2000.

 

He joined Ducon in 2000 and Ducon bought Cemtrex in 2002 and he was transferred to Cemtrex since then. He has about 18 years experience in process and compliance monitoring for US EPA related projects and other local Environment agencies in other countries. He is currently the General Manager at Cemtrex looking after the Monitoring Instruments Division.

 

 

James Wright – Clean Air Engineering

Team Leader - Appendix K Mercury Systems

 

Mr. Wright has been with CleanAir for 15 years and works out of their Pittsburgh,

PA office. He heads up CleanAir’s Mercury Solutions division, and has been

focusing his efforts lately on commercial development of a sorbent trap-based

mercury monitoring system for coal-fired utilities. He is currently overseeing the

manufacture, installation and start-up of 50 sorbent trap systems throughout the

U.S. Previously, he managed CleanAir’s source testing operations corporatewide.

He has been involved with the source testing business in one form or

another for over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical

engineering from Virginia Tech.

 

 

Jeremy Whorton – ThermoFisher Scientific

 

 

Jeremy Whorton is a Mercury CEMS Applications Engineer for Thermo Fisher Scientific based in Franklin, Massachusetts, and has been involved with many aspects of the program since transitioning into the role in early 2005. Mr. Whorton manages Mercury CEM projects from initial installation to final EPA Certification and conducts formal training and informational seminars.

 

Prior to his work on mercury systems, Mr. Whorton had been working with design and installations of Continuous Emissions Monitoring systems for other gases including NOx, and SO2 for the past eight years. He has extensive experience in CEMS design for SCR Ammonia Slip, Total Reduced Sulfur, Cement Kilns, and other compliance monitors.

 

Mr. Whorton has degrees in Mechanical and Nuclear engineering from Arkansas Tech University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and has a Masters in Business Administration.

 

 

Karl R. Wilber - Tekran

 

Karl Wilber has 35 years of experience in plant environmental and performance testing, analysis and research and has served as an expert witness in over a dozen related cases. He has also been involved in management and business development of pollution control and emissions monitoring businesses.  He has served for three years as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Tekran Instruments Corporation.
