RasGas Retrofits GE DLN Combustion Control at LNG Complex
RasGas Company Limited (RasGas), one of the world’s largest producers of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), is applying GE’s Dry Low NOx (DLN) combustion technology to reduce gas turbine emissions at its LNG complex in Ras Laffan Industrial City in Qatar. “The technology retrofits for our first six GE gas turbines achieved the reduction of NOx emission levels by more than half, which go beyond the country’s current regulatory requirements,” said Hamad Rashid Al Mohannadi, RasGas Managing Director.
