B&W to Supply Boiler and SCR for the TS Power Plant

The Babcock & Wilcox Co. (B&W) has received a contract valued at more than $40 million from Fluor Enterprises, Inc. to provide a 220-MW coal-fired boiler and associated environmental equipment for the TS Power Plant, which will be owned by Newmont Nevada Energy Investment LLC.  B&W’s project scope includes the engineering, design and supply of a 220-MW pulverized coal-fire Radiant Boiler, including 18 DRB-4Z™ Burners with igniters. B&W also will design and supply a SCR.
