Chiyoda CT-121 for Georgia Power Bowen 1-4

Chiyoda Corp. signed a contract with Southern Company Service, Inc. (SCS) for the CT-121 Process license and associated engineering services for Bowen 1-4 FGD units. Under the current contract, Chiyoda will supply the license and associated engineering services to SCS, who will undertake engineering, procurement and construction of the Project. Bowen is Georgia Power's major coal-fired power station with four power generation units (750 MW x 2 units, 950 MW x 2 units). Georgia Power intends to use CT-121 FGDs for all four units.
