ALSTOM Signs FGD License in China

ALSTOM has signed a license agreement with a Chinese company to market its wet FGD technology in the People’s Republic of China. Insigma Technology Ltd. (Insigma) will now market, sell and supply ALSTOM’s proprietary open spray tower technology. ALSTOM will provide wet FGD technology, fabric filter technology, engineering, and marketing support to aid Insigma’s entry into the Chinese market for the duration of the agreement. Insigma is a company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange with businesses in software and the environmental engineering sector. Its environmental engi­neer­ing business is a major wet FGD supplier in China, enjoying approximately 20 percent of the market share.
