Wheelabrator to Supply 2 x 850 MW FGD to Keystone

Wheelabrator Air Pollution Control, Inc. will design, supply and install two wet FGD systems for Reliant Energy, Inc. at 2 x 850 MW Keystone. The FGD systems are expected to begin commercial operation in 2009 and will remove 98 percent of SO2 from the station’s flue gas and reduce the emission of mercury.
