Information from the Exhibit Floor

Record attendance and a general sense of optimism made for a dynamic Power-
Gen conference in Orlando, Florida November 28-30, 2006. Information gleaned from the exhibitors follows.

Clyde Bergemann was displaying information on a Chinese belt filter which they are introducing into the U.S. market.

Philadelphia Mixer is supplying absorber agitators for the FGD systems at Ameren Duck Creek, Sioux, and Coffen through Hitachi.  It is also furnishing top entry agitators for the TXU Oak Grove project through Babcock Power.

CH2M Hill is providing the FGD wastewater treatment for Mitchell and Mountaineer. ITT is providing more than 100 XS 150-ULV knife gate valves for these projects. A number of the valves are spring actuated due to the requirement for a closed fail mode on loss of air.

SPX Lightnin has sold 177 side entry mixers for Chinese FGD systems. High efficiency hydrofoil blades enable efficient gas dispersion, particle suspension and mixing. The optimum blade configuration also eliminates the formation of eddy currents on the trailing surface of the blade. This design feature greatly reduces erosion and increases blade life.

Plasticon is supplying the chimney liners for Lower Colorado River Authority Fayette, First Energy Sammis, and Allegheny Hatfields Ferry. Recycle piping is being supplied for the East Kentucky Power Cooperative Spurlock FGD thru Alstom. External recycle piping for the Ameren projects is being supplied through Hitachi. Piping for two units at Detroit Edison is being supplied through B&W, which is also purchasing piping for Sammis.

SCR-Tech just received a $1 million order for regenerating catalyst for one unit of a Midwestern coal-fired power plant. The work will be performed in 2007 for delivery in 2008.
