Innovene USA LLC submitted a petition requesting that EPA adopt a facility-specific NO_x standard for the absorber offgas incinerator (AOGI) at its acrylonitrile production process facility in Lima, OH. The AOGI combusts natural gas to incinerate the offgas from the reactor and absorber section of the acrylonitrile production process. A NO_x standard of 1.5 lb/MMBtu heat input was promulgated in November, 2006.
