Ansell Protective Products
Ansell offers a complete line of sterile and non-sterile cleanroom gloves. Included are extra-long AccuTech™ styles, and special low-particle styles. Also available are Nitrilite™ gloves made from 100 percent nitrile, containing no latex protein allergens.

With Ansell's Clean Process Manufacturing™ gloves are created clean from the beginning. Their manufacturing lines are themselves controlled environments. By keeping the gloves clean throughout the dipping process, they eliminate unnecessary handling and cleaning.

The company estimates that it has a 15-20 percent market share of medical gloves in the U.S. and a 30-35 percent share of industrial gloves. In Europe it estimates its medical glove market share at 30-35 percent and the same for industrial gloves.

Barefoot Products
All Barefoot Products gloves are manufactured in a Class 100 cleanroom. Their customers around the world require the cleanest gloves available. Lowest particle counts, no outgasing, comfort, form fitting that becomes more comfortable as you wear them, and vapor transmitting are all selling features.

The patented material is clean from the start. In most glove manufacturing processes, gloves are dipped and cure during chemical evaporation. Barefoot Products does not use this form of manufacturing, there is no need to clean their gloves after production like other cleanroom gloves.

Barefoot Products has a new glove concept and product they call "Peel-A-Way™". it is a whole new way of looking at glove donning by starting out with a double glove and peeling the outer glove to reveal a pure inner glove. The outer glove assures the cleanliness of the inner glove until the proper time.

A glove-sealing product has been introduced by The Carpenter Group, USA. The new GloveLock™ product quickly and easily contours the excess glove cuff to the size and shape of the wearer's eliminating the escape of particulates through garment sleeve ends. Ergonomically designed, the product improves tactile feel, will not reduce circulation in hands, is less bulky and more effective than double cuff garments, and will not transfer adhesive to garment sleeves as do many cuff tapes. The product is recommended for use with nitrile, vinyl, and latex contamination control gloves.

CT International
CT International produces latex, vinyl and nitrile gloves designed for specific markets and customer requirements. CT International has nitrile cleanroom gloves, latex "tacky-grip" cleanroom gloves and a tri-blend orange cleanroom acid gloves as well.

Dow Chemical Company
Intacta performance polymers, supplied by the Dow Chemical Company, provide the protection that is demanded in a cleanroom environment.

Glover Latex, Inc.
The Model E45 cleanroom glove from Glover Latex, Inc. is made of natural latex and manufactured 100 percent powder free. A full 13-inches long for greater personal protection, the E45 is unpigmented to reduce extractable levels. The gloves also receive a special post-case-hardening rinse to reduce ionic contaminants. Each pair is poly-bagged in a cleanroom. Permeation and degradation data is available on request.

Itsy Bitsy Glove Company
The Itsy Bitsy Glove Company has incorporated its polymer heat seal technology into a state of the art, automated glove production machine (AGPM). Their AGPM produces polymer gloves from any polymer film or combination thereof that can be heat sealed, also the AGPM incorporates a patent pending (Licensed) hand specific glove design. The Itsy Bitsy Glove Company planned to introduce a polyurethane (PU) glove line, "Spectrum Gloves," in the fall of 2000. The new Spectrum Gloves are more durable and abrasion resistant than the typical performance of any latex product currently available, also the PU film is allergic-free for the comfort of the user. Kanematsu
Kanematsu develops, manufactures and trades cleanroom materials, including gloves, shoes, boots wipers and other disposable garments. The company's breathable gloves are useful in Class 10 environments.

The Seamless Glove, made possible by the welding method, has been developed to prevent dust particles from contaminating semiconductor and other high technologies features. Comfort is another feature of the Seamless Glove. The Seamless Glove is made from permeable polyurethane film, which prevents the hands from sweating.

Magid Glove and Safety Manufacturing LLC
Magid is the world's largest combined manufacturer, importer, and distributor of industrial gloves, protective clothing, and safety products selling direct to industry. MAPA
The company originated in 1918 in a small rural Ohio community and was known as Pioneer Industrial products until being acquired in 1988 by MAPA, an international glove company headquartered in Paris. This acquisition dramatically increased the company's global presence and greatly expanded its product lines and technical support.

MAPA has been a leading supplier of gloves for use in the critical environments arena since 1983 when the TRIonic glove was introduced for protection against aggressive chemicals used in semiconductor fab rooms. This uniquely formulated material (blend of nitrile, neoprene and natural rubber) was adapted to thinwall, dry-end applications with the introduction of RollPruf in 1984. Both gloves were among the first to be finished, inspected and packaged in Class M3.5 clean environments and manufactured specifically for the electronics market.

For more than a decade, MAPA has continued to meet the ever-changing and more demanding glove needs of cleanrooms, from the standpoint of both worker safety and contamination concerns. Glove particulates have been reduced by 80 percent and extractables are now measuring only a fraction of those at that time, if at all. Recognizing the importance of consistently maintaining the low levels, MAPA now tests each production lot before shipment.
