Continuous Analyses Websites and Webinars Create a Powerful New Sales Tool for Ultrapure Water Suppliers

McIlvaine is launching a series of Continuous Analyses websites. Each is focused on a narrow subject. The overt purpose is to help purchasers make the best decisions. The result is also to create a new and attractive route to market for ultrapure water companies. Marketers are always attempting to create more "pull" and less need for "push". This route creates maximum "pull". The goal is to make each site the default starting point for the purchaser, so inquiries are self generating. The webinars provide direct interaction with the decision makers. The accompanying email program keeps the purchaser continually aware of developments.

The websites already launched are:

·                 Gas Turbine Air Treatment – Continuous Analyses

·                 Gas Turbine Emission Control - Continuous Analyses

·                 Dry Scrubbing - Continuous Analyses

·                 Mercury Removal - Continuous Analyses

·                 Hot Gas Filters - Continuous Analyses

·                 Degasification and Demineralization

·                 Power Plant Cooling - Continuous Analyses

·                 Power Plant Valves - Continuous Analyses

·                 Steam Generator - Continuous Analyses

·                 CCR and Effluent - Continuous Analyses

The degasification and demineralization site is directly focused on ultrapure water (UPW). The steam generator website focuses on boiler feedwater treatment.

These sites are a unique way to communicate UPW successes and availability of products for these specific applications.

Access to each website is free to anyone. The intelligence system with all the background information is also free with no password required. Additional papers, presentations, etc. are invited. This includes text in other languages as long as an English summary is included. A special emphasis will be given to capturing the intelligence being generated in China.

There will be periodic webinars on each subject. Webinars are free to plant owner/operators, but there is a charge for others. Here is the near-term schedule: Hot Topic Hour Schedule

Great advantage can be achieved just with use of the free opportunities. However, this powerful new route warrants consideration of the McIlvaine custom program to maximize the benefits of this new system.

AMERICAS

United States

CEOs have slightly lower expectations for U.S. gross domestic product growth than they did last quarter, according to a new survey.

The Business Roundtable survey showed chief executives forecast GDP growth of 2.3% in 2014, down from last quarter's estimate of 2.4% for the year. (The remaining text is not included in this sample.)

Columbia

Colombia’s economy grew at the fastest pace in more than two years in the first quarter, beating all analysts’ forecasts, after a surge in government spending ahead of President Manuel Santos’ re-election. Bond fell on expectations of higher interest rates.

Gross domestic product grew 6.4% from the year earlier, the national statistics agency said, compared with 4.9% in the previous three months. Growth was faster than forecast by all 27 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. GDP grew 2.3% from the previous quarter. (The remaining text is not included in this sample.)

ASIA

China

Nearly every story about China’s extraordinary growth over the past 30 years asserts two things as a given:

a. China has grown about 10% a year for 30 years, and

b. China’s long-term growth record in unsurpassed in modern history. (The remaining text is not included in this sample.)

India

After two consecutive years of sub-5% growth, the Indian economy is expected to recover and expand 5.2% in the first quarter of this financial year, according to a Dun & Bradstreet report. (The remaining text is not included in this sample.)

Japan

The Japanese government raised its economic growth reading for the first quarter, saying that capital spending was sharply higher than initially thought.

Gross domestic product increased at an annualized rate of 6.7% in the January to March period from the previous quarter, the Cabinet Office said, revising its initial estimate of a 5.9% expansion. The result, adjusted for price changes, marked (The remaining text is not included in this sample.)

EUROPE / AFRICA / MIDDLE EAST

Dubai

Dubai’s economy expanded 4.6% year on year in 2013, up from 4.1% in 2012 according to Dubai Statistics Centre (DSC).

The DSC report showed that the fastest growing sector in Dubai last year was once again hospitality, which recorded 13% growth, the third consecutive year of double-digit growth in this sector. (The remaining text is not included in this sample.)

Ireland

GDP will grow by 2% this year and 2.4% next year on the back of rising exports and the first increase in consumer spending since the recession began, according to the EY Economic Eye. (The remaining text is not included in this sample.)

Nigeria

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, has said the recent rebasing of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) will support its quest to be among the top 20 nations by 2020.

According to Emefiele, the exercise which placed the size of the Nigerian economy as first in Africa and 26th in the world would also afford the country a more positive sovereign rating by international rating agencies such as the Standard and Poor's, Fitch Ratings, (The remaining text is not included in this sample.)

Russia

Russia's gross domestic product growth forecast of 0.5% for 2014 may be revised upwards in September due to the slowing pace of a decline in investment, Economy Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said.

"For now our official (forecast) for this year is 0.5%, but most likely we will revise it in September, most likely upwards," Ulyukayev told journalists. (The remaining text is not included in this sample.)
