jointly announced new residential construction statistics for September 2009.

The seasonally adjusted annual rate of housing starts reached 150,100 units in
September compared to 157,300 units in August, according to Canada Mortgage and

3M Reports Third-Quarter Results
3M (NYSE: MMM) recently announced third-quarter earnings of $1.35 per share on
sales of $6.2 billion, with operating income margins of 23.9 percent. Sales and
per-share earnings declined 5.6 percent and 4.3 percent year-on-year,
respectively. Excluding special items, net income was $971 million, down 2.8
percent year-on-year. 3M's Display and Graphics and Health Care businesses each
delivered double-digit year-on-year profit improvements
Noveko International Inc. Announces Fourth Quarter and Fiscal 2009 Results
Montreal-based Noveko International Inc., specializing in antimicrobial products
such as facemasks, sanitizers and filters, on Friday posted bigger
fourth-quarter and fiscal 2009 losses mainly because of higher costs for market
development. Revenue for the three months ended June 30 was $3.37 million, up
from $2.33 million a year earlier
