Subject: MBR growing at double digit rate
Membrane Bioreactor sales are soaring. The food industry has embraced MBR for treatment of its wastewater. Industrial MBR sales in North America are slated to rise from $30 million this year to over $100 million by 2009. This is the conclusion we have reached in our RO, UF, MF: World Markets.
Municipal sales have also taken off. Zenon has a number of installations as does Enviroquip. Enviroquip sells the Kubota systems in the U.S. This Japanese company is only one of a number which are at the forefront of membrane technology.
