Hot Topic is How to Build Pump Company Revenues and Profits Oct. 21, at 12:30
p.m.
Next Wednesday a webinar will include the financial perspective on how to build
pump revenues and profits and also recommendations from a sales and marketing
perspective. Troy Pawelko, Founder and Managing Director of FC Advisors, LLC and
has worked in investment banking and corporate finance. He has gained skills in
business valuation and transaction structuring and has completed approximately
40 corporate finance transactions aggregating approximately $40 billion in
value. He will present an analysis of drivers of shareholder value and ways to
enhance this value. He will answer the question as to how companies are valued
using discounted cash flow, multiple trading value techniques, and similar M & A
transactions. Other parameters affecting pump company purchase price and the
considerations relative to acquisitions will also be analyzed.
Bob McIlvaine will provide insights on the present market size and promising new
opportunities from wastewater plants in China due to the present stimulus to
gearbox lubrication in the booming European offshore wind industry. A unique new
marketing environment is being created with a free website in Chinese and
English on the range of pump applications. The implications for changing the
marketing patterns of the industry through this site will be provided.
Expansion of the forecasting of pump revenues by country, industry, and product
to also forecasting by specific applications such as metering pumps for boiler
feed water systems, and main boiler feed water pumps promises to change the way
strategies are developed.
McIlvaine has developed a new sustainability metric which shows that pump
companies are much more sustainable than cigarette companies. This will also be
discussed.
