This website provides free information including access to streaming media video on the subject of air filtration manufacturing. This effort is made to help the filter purchaser understand aspects of manufacture and delivery which affect performance, availability and cost. It is also designed to aid the filter manufacturer to improve his production processes in the pursuit of meeting customer needs for performance, value, and delivery.

This site is devoted to only one aspect of air filtration. It does not address the requirements of specific end users. It does not address the performance of various media and filter basic designs but only those aspects related to the production (once the design is fixed).

The McIlvaine goal with this site is to initiate in air filtration what has proved so successful in Power Plant Air Quality Decisions. On line systems, webinars, decision trees and other aspects combine to provide end users with much improved decision making tools. They also provide suppliers with the insights into customer needs. Power Plant Air Quality Decisions includes many thousands of pages and hundreds of video/audio discussions. Millions of dollars has been invested in this service. On the left hand side we have provided links to two audio interviews with filter manufacturers relative to gas turbine service. These interviews are but a small  part of this power initiative which includes over 1000 audio and video presentations.

This effort in air filtration is small by comparison but it is a start. The recorded webinars provide a unique way to access the latest information. The analysis segments provide insights into each major aspect. Through the “discussion” topics there is the opportunity for viewers to easily supply their opinions and links to papers or articles.

This website is also a portal to the excellent information being generated by magazine publishers and to conferences and exhibitions on the subject. Information from this site will be used in future feature articles in these magazines and in a speech at the INDA Filtration Conference in November, 2007.

Access to the data and webinars is free of charge. Access to the names of companies in each product area are also provided free. However, the individual names, emails, etc can also be accessed through subscription to the McIlvaine Indoor Air Networking Directory ($250).

McIlvaine also publishes an on line continually updated report and analysis of the air filter industry titled McIlvaine Air Filtration and Purification World Markets.
