Project Title: Southern California Edison Solar Project

          descriptions: SCE said it would install 65 million square feet of solar panels on roofs in the LA area, taking five years to complete the task. Project Title: San Luis Obispo Solar Plant

The project will use only one square mile (640 acres) of land due to the exceptional area efficiency of Ausra's collector technology. Ausra's new Compact Linear Fresnel Reflector (CLFR) solar technology utilizes heat from the sun's rays to create steam, which boil water to power steam turbine generators.
