2009 Interview Summary:
Hollingsworth & Vose is a market leading media manufacturer for many industries, including the heavy duty construction industry. H&V introduced its Capaceon air filter media for engine and heavy industrial applications at the show. The media is an acrylic and solvent based cellulose product that is designed to improve the lifetime of filters through higher dust holding capacity. Capaceon media allows higher efficiency with less basis weight than traditional filters. Product field testing showed very good results particularly with efficiency and product life.

2008 Interview Summary:
Nanoweb is a new proprietary melt blown process for making nanofibers. Advantages over electrospinning include durability. The fibers are less delicate and are not subject to moisture problems. Big markets are gas turbines, heavy duty air, and cabin air.
