2008 Interview Summary:
Membrane roll goods are supplied for a range of applications from coal-fired boilers to carbon black. The surface filtration means fewer cleaning cycles and, therefore, longer life. Membrane on glass has been very popular for reverse air cleaned bags but the big growth has been for pulse jets. The one negative is deterioration from hydrocarbons. So oil-fired boilers and certain food applications should be avoided.
