Present work, business and personal history: I have been involved in MHI since 1995 and have worked for research and development (R&D) of MHI technologies in Japan. I have been in the US since 2007 and in charge of R&D work including the project management of several on-site demonstration testing for all the environmental protection technologies, which Environmental System Division (ESD) of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America Inc. (MHIA) is providing in the U.S. market, such as the Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) system, mercury control system, waste water treatment system, CO2 recovery system etc., especially for the coal-fired power plants in the U.S. I'm also providing the technical engineering support for the FGD and CO2 projects.
