F&W Forestry Services is a forest resource management firm which has been approved as a carbon offset aggregator by the Chicago Climate Exchange. As an aggregator, F&W bundles managed forestry projects together to create marketable carbon sequestration credits for sale on the exchange. F&W officials suggest that at around $15/ton of carbon credit, forestry managers will be willing to change planting patterns to increase the sequestration potential. |
