Abstract: European Power Industry is currently planning and building power plants which will employ ultra-supercritical steam cycles with steam temperatures exceeding 1110ºF (600ºC) and pressures greater than 4,000 psi (275 bar). The presentation will introduce some of the design advancements of Doosan Babcock’s USC PC boiler technologies addressing the challenges in designing USC PC boilers for high safety and reliability and low cost. |
