BIO: Mr. Moore has 30+ years of technical and business development of coal-fired power plant programs for the utility industry with focus on advanced environmental control technologies, including the Clean Combustion System™ (a hybrid of coal-gasification / combustion for SO2 & NOx emissions control), Dry Flue Gas Desulfurization Systems (Dry FGD Scrubber for SO2 and particulate control), and Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS – measure & record air pollutant emissions). Mr. Moore is conversant with power plant environmental regulations including the U.S. EPA Clean Air Act Amendments such as CAIR (Clean Air Interstate Rule) and CAMR (Clean Air Mercury Rule). Mr. Moore is the President of Castle Light PR Corp. a technology development company focused on reducing operating cost and environmental emissions from coal-fired industrial and utility power plants. A subsidiary, Phenix Limited, LLC, recently completed a CCS-Stoker® retrofit project to design, engineer, construct, commission, and operate an advanced hybrid of coal-gasification on an industrial coal-fired steam generation plant. The project reported significant reduction in SO2 and NOx pollution emissions with improved efficiency (reduced CO2) and reduced operating cost. From 1969, at Rockwell International’s Energy and Environmental Division, Mr. Moore participated in development of many advanced environmental control technologies. As Business Development Manager, he sold the first commercial Dry FGD Scrubber technology now in wide use by coal-fired Utilities for environmental pollution control. Later, at TransAlta Utilities (located in Calgary, Canada), as Vice President of a subsidiary company, he managed the development of the fore-runner advanced coal-gasification/combustion program that’s now called the Clean Combustion System™.
