BIO: Steve Moorman is the Manager of Business Development, Advanced Technologies for Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group. In this role Steve works with the Advanced Technology Team to transition B&W’s products from lab and pilot programs to the demonstration and commercial phase.
Steve joined B&W as a Field Service Engineer in the Dallas Service District in 1974. After six years in Field Service, Steve transitioned to a position in the Dallas office as a Sales Engineer. Steve held various positions in the B&W Sales organization over the next 29 years, most recently as one of four OEM Sale Engineers here in the US. In April of 2008 Steve transferred to his current position on the Advanced Technology Deployment Team located in the home office in Barberton, Ohio.
Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. |
