Title: Reducing Greenhouse Gases through Utility Boiler Efficiency Increases
Boiler efficiency is a critical parameter in minimizing the emission of green house gases. Alstom has developed an approach to analyze and deliver recommendations on the most cost effective methods of improving unit efficiency and reducing CO2.
This paper describes improvements that Alstom Power would recommend and describes the basis for recommendation. Improvements consist of both major renovations and simple service modifications (such as operation and maintenance recommendations). |
