BIO: Theresa is the Director of Environmental Services at the American Public Power Association (APPA), where she has been employed since 2001. She has been a lobbyist and regulatory analyst in Federal and state environmental policy since 1986. She lobbied extensively on behalf of manufacturers during the Clean Air Act reauthorization process in 1990.
She has been employed by the American Petroleum Institute, National Association of Manufacturers and American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) and worked for U.S. Senator John Tower (dec.) and for a member of the state legislature in Texas (1981-82) during college.
She is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and attended the London School of Economics (LSE) in a summer semester program studying international history.
At APPA Theresa is responsible for environmental regulations and new generation issues.
