Title: Manager, Midwest Regional Carbon Sequestration Partnership (MRCSP) Mr. Ball’s career at Battelle spans over 30 years. During that time he has held various positions in research and management in the energy and environment area. In his current assignment he manages the Midwest Regional Carbon Sequestration Partnership (MRCSP) where he oversees day-to-day operations of the over 30 member MRCSP consortium that is researching viable pathways to carbon sequestration in its eight-state Midwest US region with major funding from The US Department of Energy. Prior to managing the MRCSP he was involved in development of new distributed power products for Battelle. He helped develop a joint venture called Energetix MicroPower in the UK for promoting a new micro combined heat and power (microCHP) product called Inergia that was conceived and developed by Battelle for the European market.
