Mr. Travis has a strong background in the business and project development aspects of domestic and international energy projects. He has been involved in materials management, project development, business development, and marketing and sales of a wide range of energy generation technologies, including first-of-a-kind technologies. He has been involved, in various capacities, in numerous fluid bed combustion and gasification projects over the past 30 years. Mr. Travis also has extensive experience as a consultant on over 25 domestic and international power projects, business development consulting, contract negotiations, and development of manufacturer’s representative networks. Other responsibilities and experience have included: --Energy Products of Idaho (1981-1993 and 1999 - current). Mr. Travis managed the EPI purchasing department from 1981 through 1988 when he moved into the marketing department as Technical Sales Manager. In this position, he was responsible for the sales of EPI engineering, manufacturing, and plant outage services. Since 1999 Mr. Travis has held the position of Business Development Manager for fluidized bed thermal oxidizer, staged gasifier, and gasifier energy systems with a focus on renewable and alternative fuels. --The Power Group (1995-1999). Mr. Travis was Director of Business Development for The Power Group, Inc. His responsibilities included identifying and qualifying international business and project opportunities for client companies in the independent power production industry. --Power International (1993-1995). Mr. Travis was Business Group Manager for Power International. His responsibilities included direct management of all business development activities for North & South America and Asia. In this position, he also managed the conceptual design and engineering group, and the proposal preparation and technical writing staff for all domestic and international corporate locations.
