EPDC has installed the Pall metal filter as a char filter for synthesis gas at a temperature of approximately 400°C, in the EAGLE (Coal Energy Application for Gas Liquid & Electricity) plant at Wakamatsu to establish the coal gasification technology for application for fuel cells (with coal feed 150 t/day pilot plant) aiming to implement the IGFC system.
