Fuel Tech has supplied a NOXout SNCR system to the Lee County WTE plant. Urea is introduced with controlled droplet size and distribution. An automatic chemical metering and water dilution pumps adds urea solution to and controls the flow to each level of injection. A gas temperature monitor installed in the furnace provides a signal along with steam flow for feed forward control. The PLC is interconnected by Ethernet to plant DCS.
