The 22.5 MW Pichit Biopower Plant in Thailand uses ground rice husks as its fuel. Yokogawa Electric Co. supplied an integrated control system that manages the complex sequence of effectively burning the biomass. The system includes zirconium oxygen analyzers to optimize the combustion process. Yokogawa also provided a number of flue gas monitors to measure CO, CO2, O2, NOx and SOx concentrations. All water used in the plant is analyzed by pH and conductivity meters. Click Here For Complete Case Study Text
