Each day it transforms salt water from the Arabian Sea into 30 million gallons (113,000m³/day) of drinking water. ITT designed, manufactured, supplied and installed all products for the plant, taking responsibility for the entire desalination process: from intake pump station, pre-filtration, through to the RO membranes and the distribution pump station, including instrumentation and controls.
