The water infrastructure in Chongqing, the largest city in Western China, faces severe challenges, with 43 percent of its treatment plants consistently falling below minimum standards. ITT will collaborate with CWG to construct sustainable water transport networks and ultimately improve the quality and supply of fresh water. CWG recently identified that under normal conditions, the wastewater temperature in the system’s pipes differs from the surrounding environment.
