Title: Flygt Large Vertical Pumps Sold for Use in Indian Irrigation Project

ITT Corporation, a world leader in water transportation and treatment, is heading a consortium that has been awarded a contract to provide two water pumping stations for Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited's (SSNNL) Kutch Branch Canal (KBC) Lift Irrigation Project. Combined, these two pumping stations will have the capacity to pump 196 million liters daily. ITT's Flygt® vertical column discharge pump sets are at the heart of the system, and will be the largest pumps of their kind to be built and/or operated in India.
