The Flygt HS8043.180 pump model being used at the Drax Power Station is fitted with a 7.5 kW motor and pumps at a rate of 30.0 l/s (7.9 gallons/s). It transports the wastewater from the sub-basement to an on-site treatment plant and oil separator one kilometre (0.6 miles) away.
