Title: Air Pollution Control Round Table at The 18th Annual Air Pollution Control/Pollution Control Users Group (APC/PCUG) 2011 Conference, Cleveland, OH, July 10, 2011

The 18th Annual Air Pollution Control/Pollution Control Users Group (APC/PCUG) 2011 Conference will be held at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel in Cleveland, OH from Sunday, July 10, 2011 through Friday, July 15, 2011. This year’s event will be hosted by First Energy. The conference will include O&M panels, technical seminars, and an exhibition with over 75 booths featuring leading equipment and technology providers. The purpose of each meeting is to discuss pollution control operating and maintenance issues which are relevant to the industry and to share information on possible solutions. RE has been involved with the exchange of technical knowledge within the coal-fired power generation industry for over 16 years. Since the founding of the PCUG under the direction of a 20-utility steering committee in 1993, RE has been organizing conferences on various pollution control issues. In 1994, RE combined its utility Round Table with the PCUG Meeting to form the APC/PCUG Conference. These conferences provide leading edge information geared to actual O&M problem solving. RE was also the founder of the Worldwide Pollution Control Association (WPCA), a non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage technical exchange of information covering pollution control technology on a worldwide basis. WPCA’s members are pollution control technology users, and its corporate sponsors include over 22 equipment and technology providers. With RE’s assistance, WPCA has organized seminars in South Africa, Europe, Asia and the USA. With the accelerating loss of tribal knowledge in the coal-fired power generation industry, RE believes that its role in facilitating technical communication is even more important than ever. RE is committed to bridge this void through preservation and exchange of technical knowledge. Don’t miss your chance to connect with influential decision makers. Encompassing power & automation control systems, IT, T&D engineering, power delivery equipment and water utility technology.
