Title: Interlift 2011, Augsburg, Germany, October 18-21, 2011

Interlift 2011 – “Although we were expecting that the recovering world economy would also have a positive influence on the interlift, we were certainly not expecting such a run on the leading trade fair for elevator technology, more than we have ever seen in twenty years.” Joachim Kalsdorf, Project Manager of the interlift. As a result of the present booking stand it looks as if the previously unattainable “Dream target” of 500 exhibitors may well be reached for the first time at this year’s anniversary interlift. Two considerable communal participations coming from China and Italy will also be contributing to reaching this target. During a meeting on 24th March, 2011 in Suzhou between representatives of the elevator association CEA, the Ministry for Trade, the elevator press and the elevator industry an agreement was signed for the largest Chinese presentation so far with around 40 companies spaced over 700 m². On this occasion the importance of the interlift as the worldwide most important elevator trade fair was emphasized. For exhibitors and visitors coming from China the easier formalities for visas will certainly be welcome – in most cases the visas will be issued by the Germany Embassy in Shanghai without any problems. The communal participation of ANICA is also under control. The Italian association of elevator component manufacturers will be presenting about 15 new exhibitors.
