Title: CBI Builds Syncrude Scrubber from Alloy 59

As part of the UE- 1 project an incinerator FGD was constructed of Alloy 59. It removes approximately 95% of the SO2 from a CO boiler and tail gas incinerator. Ammonium sulfate is a by product. The goal for selection of this nickel-chromium- molybdenum steel was to provide 20 year life with minimum maintenance.
