EPRI's International Low-Level Waste (LLW) Conference & Exhibit Show follows the ASME Radwaste Workshop. It is specifically aimed at meeting the needs of nuclear utility professionals. The conference will focus on all aspects of nuclear plant low and intermediate level radwaste operations, shipment and disposal contributing to improved management, safety, cost reduction and waste minimization. The conference format is intended to present the latest technical developments applicable to attendees' plant radwaste operations. In addition, it provides a forum for information exchange between vendors and other members of the industry. The EPRI ASME Radwaste Workshop precedes the Conference beginning on Monday morning and ending mid day on Tuesday. Its focus is on functional aspects of low-level radioactive waste management at nuclear power plants. Presentations will be made by utility radwaste personnel, followed by small interactive discussion groups to promote information exchange and review lessons learned. Topics include radwaste benchmarking, liquid processing, plant experience in managing solid and wet low-level waste, regulatory and training issues. The Workshop will take place during the first 1 1/2 days of this combined meeting. The ASME workshop is only open to EPRI members and Utilities. Click Here For Complete Exhibition Text
