In previous updates we quoted the CDC saying the virus would not have spread through the HVAC system on the Diamond Princess while an expert from Purdue was positive that it would have done so. An article referencing ongoing studies from Princeton and elsewhere concludes that “The novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 can survive in the air for several hours in fine particles known as aerosols”
