The Brightwater regional wastewater system includes state-of-the-art advanced wastewater treatment features . The aeration system’s direct drive turbo blowers will provide significant energy savings and have reduced the blower room footprint. Another benefit of the facility is that it will produce Class A reclaimed water for reuse. Initially, a 7 mgd reuse facility will be provided. Space is reserved on-site for additional water reclamation up to 21 mgd. Reclaimed water will be used on-site for landscape irrigation, toilet and urinal flushing, and a water feature. Reclaimed water will also be distributed off-site to other users.
