Title: Reusable Garments InterWEBview with Jan Eudy of Cintas, February, 2011

Jan Eudy covered all the important aspects with the following conclusions • Reusables are more comfortable • The cost is lower when a good laundry extends the life to 5 years • Product protection is greater due to garment quality We would like to encourage further discussion on many of the points she made. One is that many disposable garments are not laundered prior to use. They are sterilized but could still contribute to particle contamination. Jan quoted one client as saying “a hair is still a hair regardless of whether it has been sterilized”. Residual oils from the manufacturing process could also be a concern. Link to interview
