China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation ("Sinopec Corp.") is a listed company on domestic and international stock exchanges with integrated upstream, midstream and downstream operations, strong oil & petrochemical core businesses. The company is the largest purchaser of flow control and treatment products in the oil/gas, and refining segment. It also supplies process engineering and systems to other oil and gas companies. It operates 63 refineries and has considerable shale gas activity. The largest initiative is the coal to gas program and accompanying $ 20 billion pipeline to deliver 30 billion bcm/yr to cities 5000 miles away.
