ABSTRACT: Carbon Dioxide – Sources of Emissions and Conventional Control Technologies

Global CO₂ emissions from cement production represent 3.5 – 4.0% of global CO₂ emissions from fossil-fuel burning and cement production.  This presentation presents the major sources of CO₂ emissions from cement manufacturing and a description of the conventional control measures that can be employed to reduce CO₂ emissions.
