About M&M Engineering

M&M Engineering has been providing failure analyses and related services to industrial and insurance company clients for thirty-six years, although within different organizations. It was established in 1977 as a division of Radian Corporation (located in Austin, Texas), a subsidiary company of The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (HSB). In 2008, employees of M&M Engineering established an S-corporation for the purpose of purchasing the assets and hiring the staff of Mechanical & Materials Engineering LLC. M&M Engineering currently employs twenty-one engineers, scientists, technicians and support staff in four offices in the states of Texas, Oregon, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Utah.  The main office is in Leander, Texas—a 14,800 square foot facility that houses staff offices, a metallurgical laboratory, and a small machine shop that supports laboratory work. A third of the staff have been with M&M Engineering for over 20 years. 

M&M Engineering is a registered Engineering firm in the State of Texas and there are five registered PEs in the State of Texas as well as engineers holding PEs in Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Washington.
