Dry Scrubber Webinar on October 23 Covered Innovations Such As Hybrid SDA – DSI
The dry scrubber webinar covered the KC Cottrell circulating dry scrubber with
cyclone. One advantage is that it can be used with an existing precipitator.
The cyclone prevents overloading the precipitator. Paul Farber
compared advantages and disadvantages of DSI, SDA, and CDS. There was
considerable coverage of the Lonjing projects in China and descriptions of the
various by-product uses. Information on the Dry Scrubber Users Conference
included details on the program for next September in Rapid City, SD.
