New Challenges for Cartridges in the Energy Sector

A huge program to convert coal to syngas, fuels and chemicals is underway in China. Large amounts of water have to be filtered.  One of the conversion processes, direct liquefaction relies on filtering the non carbon elements in the hydrogenated mix. Subsea processing challenges filter designers to supply filters subject to high pressures and temperatures. Shale gas hydraulic fracturing offers a number of filtration challenges.  All these developments are being tracked in Cartridge Filters: World Market.
